Isola #1 by Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl

Childhood friends Fletcher and @karlkerschl have been working on this series for decades, and it’s finally out on Wednesday! You might recognize the creative team from their work on Gotham Academy, and we can’t wait to see their first creator-owned series together. A Studio Ghibli-style fantasy adventure comic, we’re doing a big signing event for this with Brenden on Saturday!

Your Black Friend and Other Strangers by Ben Passmore

Whether you missed Your Black Friend when it was originally published or you just want to revisit it, this expanded hardcover is a biting, hilarious, depressing story about race relations in modern America on a very personal level. Passmore won an Ignatz Award for this at Small Press Expo last year, and his fiery, politically-charged acceptance speech remains the highlight of the show. You gotta pick this up.

Copra Round Five by Michel Fiffe

Did you hear Fiffe’s going to be rebooting Image Comics’ Bloodstrike in June in his signature experimental indie comics Copra style? Anyway, the fifth collected edition of Copra is finally out!

Analog #1 by Gerry Duggan, David O'Sullivan, and Jordie Bellaire

A new thriller series set in a dystopian future where the internet has crashed and everything is once again… analog. Written by Deadpool scribe Gerry Duggan and colored by Jordie Bellaire, who works on just about every comic ever published.

IMAGE COMICS’ MOTOR CRUSH TAKES OVER DRAGON CON

Who’s that badass lady with the nail-covered cricket bat on every Dragon Con badge?

That’s DOMINO SWIFT, hero of the upcoming Image Comics series MOTOR CRUSH from Cameron Stewart, Brenden Fletcher and Babs Tarr, the creative team responsible for the New York Times bestselling reimagining of Batgirl.

By day, Domino competes for fame & fortune in a worldwide motorcycle racing league. By night, she cracks heads of rival gangs in brutal bike wars to gain possession of a rare, valuable contraband: an engine-boosting “machine narcotic” known as Crush.

MOTOR CRUSH will be in stores December 7th but Dragon Con attendees can get a first look at the debut issue via a limited edition Issue #0 featuring the first 14 pages of story!

Creators Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart and badge-art illustrator Babs Tarr will be signing comics and prints for the duration of Dragon Con in “Comics & Pop Artists Alley” (Tables 19G-21G, 3rd level of building 2 of the AmericasMart Atlanta, 230 Ted Turner Drive)
